I see a high-ranking Air Force officer is holding the door for GWB. I guess the Air Force guys don't have too many chores to do since it would be too difficult for GWB to open the door for himself or be courteous enough to let Billy Clinton go out the door first. They have a BLACK officer opening the door for them. Now that is messed up. Making a brown boy be his slave.
come on now, D. america didn't choose this. we were offered a limited selection of sanctioned choices that really offered the same thing. for example, "inconvenient truth" aside, the 2000 election was between two rich white guys who got their money through oil. the 2004 election was between two guys who were part of the same fraternity in college. that's not a choice. america hasn't been offered a choice in an election in at least 50 years, probably more. better get a little deeper and get to the real issue...
What about The multitude of third party and fourth party contenders? Don't tell me there is no choice, there is always a choice. But, we are in a failing government system. It is all falling apart according my post about the stages of a Gov.
what about the alledgedly free press that acts more like a fourth branch of government in it's selection of which 3rd (etc) party candidates to cover? why don't we hear about dennis kucinich or ron paul on MSNBC?
yes, there is a choice, but there is virtually no information about what the choice is beyond the candidates deemed acceptable, which makes it a non-choice for those who don't have the ability to find that info. i guarantee you that if we elected kucinich, nader, etc, they'd be shot.
and yes, i agree with you that it's falling apart on time. it's supposed to. fortunes will be enlarged on the falling apart...
