Why do we have a Government? Why do people gather together and form a Government? What is the purpose of a Government?
I have pondered these questions a lot. Because I think that our current Government no longer does any of the things that Government was founded to do. I think it is time for a change...by force if necessary. Who is with me?

The government sucks right now. They are drifting far off from what the founding Forefathers intended... and then they use an excuse like, "Times are changing... we are a modern society... we must change the government a little to fit today's society needs." What a bunch of crap !!!
the government exists to protect property... which is what it existed to do when rich white men made it in the first place.
yes, it is still doing exactly what it was intended to do, it's simply that you're now waking up to what that intent was. be careful of believing in the importance of people like thomas jefferson, george washington, patrick henry, fidel, che, chavez, and other figures of note: this is cultic idolatry. leaders are not different from how they used to be: egoic and self-centered to the extreme of other-destructive.
if you want to show others how to do for self, the key is to turn your back on the government and do for self. the way to turn your back on government is not to become angry and rail continually against it, in this act you've still given them your attention, which is what they wanted. the way is to simply do something else positively and with love and attention...
be careful D, your post (the part regarding by force) is treading into open sedition, which is not protected speech even in normal times, even if it should be (and really is, by the prior rule of the declaration of independance). i don't mind visiting friends in prison, but i doubt they'll let me see you in gitmo.
